JOB SUMMARY:
4 W! A; I) a; Y; H( g! gWorking closely with the distribution and warehouse teams, this position is responsible for load planning and balancing for Southern and Central Alberta

8 s; ^) J% ?9 R5 B# ?+ [+ n1 }JOB DUTIES:
        Balance loads efficiently in order to effectively utilize line haul trailer capacity;
/ F3 Y" v% k7 `        Load Tendering & Scheduling of Commodity Shipments
        Operational communication with all Transport providers
7 r8 q, D6 _  h        Booking of delivery appointments when required
        Make recommendations in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
        Various reporting functions, including cube analysis, carrier performance & compliance, etc.
        Liaison between Route Settlement, Warehouse and Distribution;
2 ]9 a5 v# v- I3 r2 p        Special assigned projects;
        Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
        High School diploma or equivalent;
# f' ~; D5 M: b2 j+ j        Post secondary education related to business or accounting is an asset;
        Experience working in a Distribution or Warehouse setting;
2 B' n2 m. F( z( ?7 I6 g  _        Experience in the transportation industry an asset;
* u0 v% \3 {1 Z- M* K5 _, t/ v4 D2 z        Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
) q) Y* Z0 y7 ]# E2 U3 B* S  M0 D        Self motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and establish priorities.
, L' {- G8 d( Z7 s4 `% P        Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
        Strong organizational and analytical skills.
