Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
' H" v+ R  d$ ^' IShifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

Main duties:
, o" Q/ w# w! a# j; U•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
* r8 h( v$ S0 _% y% d/ g  w•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
' k2 t. W8 h% r7 ^•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
2 p3 H/ M; x/ ]/ l5 f- Q•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
$ |1 Z% E4 W9 r% x•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
' c6 U) N) ?( l. D& A•        Completion of secondary education is required
( T) `& E9 N: w8 Q5 F1 I•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
" W0 L( _) Z' u7 J+ F$ s8 q•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
: X$ b4 T6 T' p5 G" k, {- }•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
