Job Description:
  `/ J+ }; N' }6 y/ R8 }3 tTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
3 N, M) x) X. B" u" D6 l• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
- s( ^  O/ {4 U' [' m: `( U+ p" C• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
5 y4 t5 Q0 o+ r3 h2 B) N• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
, V' E1 I' E: X& j  z• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.. i7 J- Z1 ~5 O( g4 |: a$ v
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;

• Participate in trade shows;+ t- _7 [, S* o; }7 f" z% X# u4 l
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;& s( _$ I& \. o* y. ~
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
5 u+ k) M% A! r* d• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
9 u* U0 L& u3 M: m- E• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
1 v+ o5 Q* D/ D/ T3 v/ V. W; q•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
: W" p0 Q2 U3 X. m: [! ?• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
$ ^2 V5 o9 z+ V: ?4 ^- z: v' ?• Ability to lead and develop;
/ e3 Z6 h  V* l% f5 j• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;! L* @2 n1 i: K$ e$ F3 Y' ^3 q$ I
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
0 r$ M+ v- y! Z9 f0 M. \, m• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;: V( A! R3 f; E0 @( U. a/ d7 A1 s3 `
• Ability to work within deadlines;3 v: m6 W/ m' _! E9 x4 K* `

• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
