• Support capital projects and network build activity with coordination, installation, and commissioning duties • Respond to corrective network problems, performing effective/efficient problem analysis, rapid troubleshooting diagnosis and prompt repair of equipment to ensure service restoral objectives are met.

• Plan for and implement preventive maintenance routines to ensure network standards of performance are met.

( d5 H9 Z/ h  R1 V+ u5 r4 ~• Perform cutovers and upgrades on the network as directed by work orders.

5 N7 W7 E) g2 \& s0 n• Maintain "up-to-date" site documentation as outlined by the EWO initiative.

- ~  P( E0 ]8 v$ j5 n• Perform acceptance tests on newly installed sites and equipment to ensure results meet design specifications.

6 t8 |2 c, h: r• Microwave and Transmission experience (e.g. DS1, DS2 ,DS3, OC3, OC12, IP) • Gain in depth knowledge of key quality service indicators in geographic area of responsibility.

• Optical Fiber, SONET and knowledge of TCP/IP • Participate in retune activities associated with network optimization and build activities.

2 y+ T+ z: f+ h! A  {1 k" Q0 i' |• Maintain inventory of required parts and perform regular audits to ensure availability of parts.

* X1 _6 i! Z- n* e• Administrative reporting of Mileage, Timesheet, Expenses, Equipment and Deficiency ticket updates etc.

• Test hand-offs, RSSI, transmit level on mobiles, dropped calls and investigate any changes.

• Document activities for future assessment analysis.

; V! z" m1 v+ l) p7 a• Maintain current documentation of site status, complete trouble tickets, incident report and other required reports.

• Shift work, overtime, and 24 hour on-call support may be required on a regular rotational basis.

• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics from a technical institute.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Demonstrated investigative, problem solving, analysis and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

C- q  w/ }-Telecom Diploma with at least 2 years of post secondary education -Experience working at a cell site -Must be willing to travel around Alberta (expenses will be reimbursed) -Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Internet Protocol Analyzers, RFC testing and Microwave testing *The manager is not looking for Engineers.
