The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:

: ^. S. u% P# [8 G* Q. UMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
; {) i$ A: l ` W7 q" G7 W: N. M/ tInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
! o% F: o" z3 K( ZLoads and unloads non-ferrous material' a8 Y9 x" Y; B( z3 t- r' @# ]
Must be able to work safely at all times6 e* N' [4 A) V7 X( S4 b7 E2 h
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently [: S; ?* O: ]6 x0 A4 c
Performs routine housekeeping.! g; P1 m+ @- d% V
Observes and reports any safety issues' u. K4 H5 z( g0 _' W3 e

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
