% _+ I# m" {6 ]( N3 i6 I) mWhen we are billed to be the next Superpower, we are a threat.

. Q5 \1 L, r& w; oWhen we closed our doors, you smuggled drugs to our markets.2 B! d# n2 x0 f. ~. w# L. H+ ?. r
When we embraced Free Trade, you blame us for taking away your jobs.% o+ ]1 d0 U* w; P

When we were falling apart, you marched in your troops and wanted your “fair share”.

So, we tried communism, you hated us for being communists, G" K7 C7 d7 a* x$ O- b# U
When we embraced capitalism, you hate us for being capitalists.0 m- q+ X0 m2 q" j3 }

When we tried limiting our numbers, you said it is human rights abuse.6 ^- }) W& T5 J4 H5 \
1 o+ f: s2 c& D. NWhen we were poor, you thought we were dogs.

When we build our industries, you called us polluters.

When we were silent no more, you say we are brainwashed racists.

Why do you hate us so much? We asked.
