Job Description – Responsibilities
" T( v. F+ Z& ?( m, a5 r• accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program . c$ o/ ^8 Y" e: m) o% _
• writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs ' G/ G0 J q: b1 V& \
• supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
5 U5 \' ?* Q6 F, F# \: ]* j; d• coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program # M7 A6 [! ^& q0 k0 g8 X' z
• liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program" G! ^) [ P3 f: Y' Q7 h
• train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
3 q! q4 P( b+ z" d l0 E M• accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
3 h" R( e/ F, y$ E8 I• demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
' e8 Z0 i& ?3 I• participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues

Qualifications- G0 d4 G6 u1 m3 q
• degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience5 q+ ]) {, S- e7 E" u3 U- D6 {
• good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
6 R& W& h1 ~2 ^/ [& u• experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset % u& F! X7 O! O6 D0 E) N" V
• leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills3 ~/ J, ^- R. m* W1 q2 m
• willingness to learn # P0 w6 f8 h& }8 e9 F* A4 Q2 a" b
