To qualify for an Alberta Qualification Certificate based on work experience, a person must:* j& V1 ]3 r! h( l2 x

have at least 8,775 hours and 72 months of ‘hands-on’ work experience as an electrician
# |) m5 D: Q! [8 b! V- _5 CTime spent on supervisory or foreman duties, counter work, heading the tool crib, or on a training course is NOT counted as ‘hands-on’ work experience.5 l- O0 P" t$ S% _" _9 M1 r
# K% P8 I! g# g R9 x) W) vcomplete the Qualification Certificate - Work Experience Application and submit it to an Apprenticeship and Industry Training Office

pay the non-refundable fees as identified on the application noted above
