City council is considering putting 30-kilometre-an-hour zones around some schools, after pressure from parents.

) T- a" \/ R' v# E4 ~1 c" E"This is simply adding it to our set of solutions," Rick Millican, general manager of transportation, said. "Council is not saying if they approve it, put a school zone everywhere someone wants on.

' x3 Q* S- K( P, Z$ `"People are in a hurry, people are stressed out, they forget the speed limit and our children are very at risk when they are going to these places," she said.
