! s  c/ Q- b% A  J2 `1 c4 v/ ETracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
0 S3 U9 m0 o2 D•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
6 G/ ?; b: F: ~0 s$ Y3 V+ [•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
8 {; L1 B  O: J" `9 r•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
& d# L  s* P" Z+ ~1 Y4 l/ ]0 i$ t•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
5 O4 E% i$ D  P7 l  B•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
! G7 O# u! D5 \4 W  V- S6 |•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
, Y5 c# g9 t: H8 P' |' L% Q9 @" @) V•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
$ A9 K' p  C" U  E1 m4 E. cRequirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
+ I- d! ~! j# I) f2 ]0 O" v- K•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
