( m" c' r' F+ ^: h3 P  I  QTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

/ D8 `0 V  y/ Z: J! \8 C  e1 n3 v$ R• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
0 D0 J, J. W  }4 B3 u! L" _• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
* |) ~3 w3 U: k6 I• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
1 m/ @: v8 z! R5 M% r$ A7 Y• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;

• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;

• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

Requirements:
•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
* U$ L# t9 Q6 v• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
9 \7 m+ M/ N8 ^$ }7 Z• Ability to lead and develop;
) z2 D# {. ]# A, v6 Z7 L9 a# [• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
" P) u3 d$ U% j, X. p• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
8 v. |2 r* M/ K& g* R• High level of creativity and innovation;
4 @5 x* m5 v/ r7 Q- p+ z9 x3 Z• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
