Job Responsibilities3 ]1 w: j$ D% g: t0 ^8 Q  {& @& K
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
& c& C2 _2 d% E•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
+ P$ F% J) E; @% T9 d& `•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
1 e! a: k8 @; |•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. ; D* R: b, L1 h1 x5 J" A
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
, @  B( \$ Z4 P: l9 i+ b5 Q& K2 p•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
5 l! V5 l+ ?2 W0 C•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
( q' J& G8 t# V•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.: x! A; g$ _6 `0 J; j8 @
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
# x% Q6 G5 }( a1 M2 c& H•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
0 ~: }$ \! \/ b0 k  q•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. : Y* x2 b5 ~2 D% b4 Z0 U& n
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. & D( k. z# _% B& s: ]5 z
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
) H! X4 F4 u) r4 U•        Attend Cluster meetings. ( X0 h% w- w1 E% \
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
+ v( s$ j2 L* P8 I! @•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department . {2 Z- t( `/ H  L# U, H* q& \8 Z
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies2 _! v5 B& S- W5 M8 d3 W  b" o. E
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center+ {9 b) V& N) \- U( o, M$ I' u
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

4 o3 w+ }: u/ K2 z( |•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
( k5 P* A- n' T; \& L) @• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;8 L# P, z, {& ?5 _: R+ ?, V
• Ability to lead and develop;& u( K; j6 F, P, L% G
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;4 R6 C/ j8 ]6 s8 A' F
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;' C! Z: w7 l  i# Q- ^4 Q' u1 _/ ]
• Ability to work within deadlines;+ ?, g% n/ O# Q
• High level of creativity and innovation;& b, N# B/ \6 t  c! Y7 K
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
