The Kitchen Deli Production Assistant – BBQ Section is responsible to prepare, handle, cook and promote Asian specialty foods in the BBQ section or other section as assigned by the superior(s). This position is responsible to ensure food quality is maintained and providing our customer with great purchasing experience.

Major Responsibilities:
$ |) Y% I  I+ S% x+ b) ^•        Prepare, handle and cook specialty foods in the BBQ section
# F- W. i1 ]! l: q3 E•        Assist in describing and promoting the specialized cuisine to our customers
1 O! n: A, I& o1 P•        Ensure section food quality is maintained and standard food portion is served
•        Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior(s)
: {1 Y9 Q7 M  M: a+ nKnowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
: r  d3 s% s  F) c$ n+ a) R
5 t7 ?) {7 U1 h* d- }•        Have a passion to cook and serve Asian cuisines
•        Must be flexible to work in shifts assigned, including weekdays, weekends, morning and evening hours and statutory holidays
•        Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese; English is considered an asset
% A4 [! J& w' N* w! I' R/ {0 b+ A1 u•        Customer service focused with good interpersonal skills
  A* m- ~9 ?! }. k: b' p•        Able to maintain a safe and sanitary workstation and environment
& s/ u9 N9 t. q: m* c4 {•        Be prepared and willing to work in hot kitchen environment of over 30 degrees
" A. N4 K% a7 }- u•        Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for a long time as required
•        Flexible to travel within the province &/or to relocate to other provinces
