Position Title: Program Manager (Downtown Office) – Full time position  - L1 @& J# s/ f
Salary: Based on Qualification & Experience

This position reports directly to the District Program Manager% `4 j- Y/ d" X
# P% [% }# K; E. n/ y* @. P1 F
Key Responsibilities are as follows:7 A6 V4 J; p& n( Q2 I) U
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
* N5 Y' n" W5 d+ Z- C# W•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
. s, f3 L9 g( {- a  w9 K" v•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
* f# j) z) Y9 U•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects., f2 \5 {7 Q/ G. B3 w+ Q4 N* m% A
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential* V& l0 N& g8 @& l2 A" r

0 s  o2 d" E' s  L5 F  ~$ IQualifications:1 \: M+ ^8 k/ B) c8 W: ~4 L' I/ ~
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;0 I- H% M/ |. n
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;' z! |" h% `  f4 P6 g$ c0 ?
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;9 j3 ~2 N( S9 ^5 e
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
3 X$ y- S6 Z: ?/ |' k' o8 Y  f•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
