Position Summary:5 B  E; w9 i7 {
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.
* _. S3 W5 V9 z& \+ L2 }- p1 @% m2 t# J3 m& F7 c: O$ d
Primary Objective/Duties of position:: s! d" a6 X9 j& m3 P* J1 k
/ S1 [; N% S- q: ]) ?( d! d5 v; o
    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
) r8 _1 O) Q7 O; K    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business9 i2 r, W' Q. P; O) K
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
/ b/ N/ U/ M# O1 ]7 A    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy$ l* U& {- q: B/ ~
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals8 Q! j# V3 w2 Q4 M4 F8 H
    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
" W! F2 v1 s" B1 f: U    Actively participate in training initiatives# o, P+ A6 @3 A3 D; h5 L4 O
    Participate in community marketing initiatives
: _3 Z8 U( A' T( |( Z7 Q3 j: |' e  F  |& F" O4 H
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
5 y% F0 ^7 l& O! E- Y. ?/ ~( ]) f
    High School and or Post Secondary Education7 S$ H0 w& O9 s0 I* q
    Previous customer service experience$ j. v/ n6 @$ p* H8 N0 q) {( Q
    Previous sales experience an asset* C' C, c) m# L* g2 B# t  Q( P# I5 t
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain- Q5 s/ V. v8 z* r5 L1 P
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
" e( d6 S4 g* [) B7 P) ^$ g    Strong analytical and organizational skills
+ Q, ]2 E& O1 O9 u) y2 q. i    Excellent verbal and written communication skills4 N8 P6 g$ l+ B! k9 B
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution) a2 g$ v, I' Q: N
