Respond to inquiries and determine services required by utilizing active listening and probing skills to facilitate a resolution thus meeting the caller's needs1 t* c' V3 i }2 g2 l
Apply problem solving skills by concurrently using multiple systems to handle inquiries, researching answers, entering requests for service, comments or complaints for investigation and other purposes2 g1 q2 D; u( q! C' S5 ~, ^7 T' k* g

Grade 12 including business subjects with emphasis on general office practices' x3 z/ m! [1 j, x7 l
Minimum of 3 years experience in a customer service call centre environment3 J! @! i. [# M' d3 y6 Q" V7 }
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and knowledge of other database tools
M7 T1 }. n, D( j" p( {( XExperience using Google Mail, Google Docs, POSSE, TACS and SAP are considered assets

, g' u4 |& T) N0 ~" b& `Hours of Work: 20.25 hours per week are guaranteed, however all successful applicants must be willing and able to work up to 40 hours per week based on business requirements.

6 o. Q6 [. f2 i' pSalary Range: 21B, Salary Grade: 013, $22.378 - $28.062 (Hourly). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton. This union contract is currently under negotiation. . {9 L6 q9 J" u/ ?
