SALES CLERKS

2 q  w& g2 m5 N# LEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
& P( o# }4 I9 D* p1 k" H! ?that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
5 L: w  S; ~, L" rcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
. g4 O: C& _& a! m! Jthe Store Manager.
& }' U1 M- V" K( J: x) X9 m2 SDuties and Responsibilities
7 V' p7 v2 z+ R8 @Customer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
. \! ^6 o! D( x3 I/ l' nstock
; X2 t3 h0 P, {• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
* K/ B2 a7 v$ q% t/ vStore Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills

Physical Requirements
5 r* x! o% a. V+ n" @• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
6 B* w  y: P0 ^4 B& \• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
- \5 F  Y) U0 P& D1 A7 [• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
