The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting. x! {' w5 i, C# H3 S

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
' p+ B, p; |* x0 X: jInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
1 v `( a& b+ r# A3 x" WLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
, P7 }" f. J; @% DMust be able to work safely at all times' T. A1 K+ m) B3 O: Y0 v
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently6 z9 [ J4 H9 s" p2 y7 h
Performs routine housekeeping.

Job Qualifications:

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
* G) H8 ^1 c' v% h: R6 hHigh school diploma (Or GED)3 i3 X+ v$ D& q* u, r) ], g: S
Well-articulated and assertive
4 |- b6 Y2 J- F% W! q* iAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization4 u% x9 n% e, i! i5 M! A0 @5 K$ i* ]' V

Ability to write simple correspondence
