• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
0 d+ A( ~. }: }Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

But if you like the sweetness of the Cake Mix you got from super market, you can follow the recipe.; q4 M! C2 J/ b( U' j b

For beating, you can buy a simple Hand Mixer for about $10. It can not only be used for making cakes but also bread, or mashed potatoes(土豆泥)ect. |
