! G M& N( O8 A" u4 d" [# Mskills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
# Y. a3 t1 N% j& Kprogram combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work3 Y* Q1 t/ @: k5 B3 X* \# @
experience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as* _, B/ d7 C4 R
warehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food( b0 w& G! b K5 _- y* M: O

1 Q0 U) L) V2 v5 q. pCandidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian1 N- `/ F F. h
citizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:/ Q, h# \3 A6 P; }9 Z
* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB
+ t8 h, C0 P+ W0 v* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post- l0 r8 V! l, m4 _" s" i
secondary education
