Any input on Cutler-Hammer Starter?

/ N; h' E" s# c( \; DTwo  cutler –hammer advantage  starters are  doing the same thing:
After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the  start and stop buttons on DCS screen  , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.
It is a cycle.

1 E! F# o: L) o" j! FWe isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.
Swap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.
, @# S% A! F6 m4 ^8 e1 ~The problem should be inside the bucket.

* \. D! ^; t. h4 D! L3 \5 U  TWhen the problem happened, we observed that  the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.
Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
4 t* g3 d  u0 X! CConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we  bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.

7 C& J/ n& `' a( R; L* n  zThe next thing we can think of  is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.
They  have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered  the connection and tried again.

Don't know cutler –hammer advantage  starters very well, but had been worked on AB switch gears for a little while, which has two different coils, one to pull the vacum bottles up which employs larger current, another one uses less current to hold the connection---if the second coil fails, it won't be able to seal the connection.
Since your cutler -hammer works couple times,  I guess 侠客行 is right, or the sealing connection is just worn out.
