: f8 V3 |' i- v$ a! n' x PThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

" R2 c9 n( C- R/ ~§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
" E. i! u. N: S0 g6 T§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
* `$ u4 f: g/ S7 [; K§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
$ {) @6 z+ T4 O% Z; J0 x§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
( K& L7 w8 `( U§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk

§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives z8 P! q! T3 R/ J! Q1 |( M
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports e5 D. Z4 f8 `
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
% Y' G0 Q# k* R- _% w9 g§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to) ^/ C$ B" h) m
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times& z* K1 _9 ]% ^* k" f h
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access- }1 x: M- n, w+ G
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures9 \# L/ }2 j T+ v# e# a
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan

§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance
