: f8 V3 |' i- v$ a! n' x  PThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

" R2 c9 n( C- R/ ~§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
" E. i! u. N: S0 g6 T§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
* `$ u4 f: g/ S7 [; K§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
$ {) @6 z+ T4 O% Z; J0 x§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
( K& L7 w8 `( U§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
3 z. y) B% p9 ^  J) G) N1 k6 }§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert3 O& O2 X3 y: R9 Q
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties
( W  e6 i' T* m§ Special projects as required& i+ y, g8 D" D, c

§ Fundamental commitment to customer service
" L+ D' L# u3 P+ a9 c/ j8 P§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues
3 v8 c: F, O" o% R' g§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware( K+ |7 f4 K) T# z4 g# d+ F
§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software4 @  J* ]+ R# Z1 H
§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Manage and coach staff in IT group
6 s; X6 }8 p) u* P! e§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support/ i% l( I" T" N) \5 x3 Y
§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives  z8 P! q! T3 R/ J! Q1 |( M
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports  e5 D. Z4 f8 `
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
% Y' G0 Q# k* R- _% w9 g§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to) ^/ C$ B" h) m
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times& z* K1 _9 ]% ^* k" f  h
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access- }1 x: M- n, w+ G
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures9 \# L/ }2 j  T+ v# e# a
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
1 j* o$ I0 i7 i" |  l. d) L§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk0 o: w" S* P1 M, g
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert  o/ \& X6 _9 a
§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management# b( F4 z9 g0 b+ O( b
§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance
% P# n0 J9 R5 g0 _# e% r§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT6 V3 E  C5 }% y" o" q! J  ^
§ Coordinate and support end user training/ @. M1 |0 d$ O: [$ [
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers

在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
