Alberta Infrastructure And Transportation , Peace River - Are you interested in working with highway construction and rehabilitation? Are you capable and up to the challenging position of a Construction Engineer? If you answered yes to both these questions, these employment opportunities will be of interest to you. Our two positions will put your varied engineering experience to work. Your excellent technical, interpersonal and organizational skills will be your foundation as part of the construction team involved in the selection, evaluation and guidance of consultants on various highway construction projects. Your project and construction administration skills will be used to manage the delivery of these construction projects. Located in the scenic Peace River valley, the Town of Peace River is a commercial and administrative center for northwest Alberta, a diversified region of farming and resource development.

Qualifications: B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with considerable progressively responsible related experience in highway or bridge construction and/or maintenance. Eligibility for membership in APEGGA is required. Equivalencies will be considered. Note: Candidates with less experience may be considered at a lower salary level. Salary: $58908 TO $81564 Closing Date: September 23, 2005.
