Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
, `. P. d; i9 r5 c8 y6 woperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
# S( Y; o+ b3 Q9 ]customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
: r4 l4 E/ W" y. h9 H8 W/ uthe Store Manager.
  I$ ?( G3 E; q9 VDuties and Responsibilities
4 a, V4 r! P% w1 rCustomer Service
$ _/ q7 n0 e% o1 J* E5 O• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
  A  O& b. \7 c7 B• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
% C1 M: X8 q7 P0 _  z3 N• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
  l$ }$ y' `" V3 Sstock
) U" |: G$ B% e" B- n7 a4 P, ~• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
/ s$ V& E" L8 eStore Responsibilities
' ^, v6 U$ R1 O& C1 R) K$ P4 |. n• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
6 N- o; V! i2 Q" g& K# x• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
% s0 q( `0 t. ^( G4 q" S• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
- h0 U8 e$ D7 u  q% R• Protect company assets at all times
2 `' Q: W  d' f5 ?* z! k• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
! y* O) G- Z) H# O# P, Q" m• Good problem solving skills
! ^+ ?4 W  z6 [) a" T• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
; j4 H& v; j# ^% W9 i9 T  ^changes in strategies
Working Conditions
• Fast paced environment
• Demanding workload
& i: N& h% A5 d, _, e! @- mPhysical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
