# @/ X5 r0 r* g- Q
 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
' F; T3 [) v; L% j- K, j$ a7 c Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
+ v/ Z- y: C2 f$ d( g Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
" Q! ]& f0 G9 q9 d+ G3 a6 E/ F Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
' \6 K8 o1 |4 i. p Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
) b: ~* q) _, ]9 F Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
, @) k- o* @  z  j Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
: p/ o& q. `( s Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
7 ~8 h  ?" |& L6 V" w3 Z Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
