- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
4 K9 I1 T; h' b0 g& E1 g# Q: {; a-  develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
" c0 @' k% |" S6 U8 Q9 P5 p- provide support to ISP staff
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
* |: y& S  s4 Y- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned
  B* ]+ a& t; b5 T0 D1 q1 M0 D+ d' f- other duties as assigned

& l, h$ P: a9 c) Q; F$ CQualifications
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
$ Z. i- l! T+ L  p4 y- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
2 l" i* v4 c' v" h5 L) C- ~! c. \- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
: I! d9 p( D1 E/ \$ u3 E% B0 ~% {- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
' k; u5 P  \3 l  j  ^8 x1 V- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
- good interpersonal and people skills
- V8 W  b, }. Z2 y: l* O- good organizational and coordination skills
- valid driver’s license
