Position:        Youth Leader
5 P0 @# L3 D/ o& [& L: G9 PDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
! ?; }6 X3 x; ^Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
5 W, K, y6 l% E: G9 i) A( t0 rTime:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)

Program Coordinator:        Daniel SUEN


Duties:
+ N( n9 [; O* ?7 Y' C$ STo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
; W! b) ~4 Q" @- a9 n% y
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
6 P2 f8 l) R. J" k4 {, V Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
1 n- r# G  j$ V# [) n Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
1 S8 i7 s7 P) S8 A1 l: P Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
% z& Q# `, j% ?3 K! L7 K Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
7 E  ^3 T9 M, f( g! k+ |% c' Y Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
% Q5 o& o( [$ V; H; e A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
5 w% P( i6 o( g& ^5 z( W Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
