Position:        Youth Leader
/ p8 F& x8 v. W7 B9 Y7 k" MDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
9 ]6 F3 R) S) T: Z9 d) _Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
* t/ I9 a( z: ACamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days

2 l/ V6 x7 M6 f2 ?Duties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
3 ~3 }) u" z5 M+ ]; c4 J Take attendance if available
; |8 P- A9 B/ ]5 I% A( o8 [! K Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
  K$ {1 S/ W* j/ ~2 ]; R Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
" x1 M$ ~0 k' P" E) R. ~ Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
0 W/ Q. _  t! ^1 G2 u4 ~6 O4 Z& \ Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
3 [+ B+ i4 {; _$ ? Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
/ b% z# N7 U# f) I& t8 z  O Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
- n8 C( `5 y9 Q9 @2 l! R2 i Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

  C( ]/ u' C! J6 N8 a  FAttitude/Skills Requirements

. M7 h2 R8 G. O5 S$ y Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
+ q0 w! I2 K9 x. Q4 d. R% A' v) N A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
