The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.4 m# ^ a% G e6 W& d8 `( n

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:
& g. q' u" G( I! M. @9 v* f- I' S' ~" W, I& S: o8 {! ^
Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
; w" \' ?/ Y" b& S6 B/ w# rInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
, W! W8 M; D+ U3 {8 mLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
5 U! g. C- p& l" k9 v* iMust be able to work safely at all times- y: W7 R! c' l x
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently6 I$ D* s( B4 y6 W) N
Performs routine housekeeping.

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
9 v. A: r# y1 r" b; E/ d# _Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
2 e8 G( w/ s& LHigh school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization% Y9 P8 F* |7 T7 Q' S
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
