Job Summary:& W6 Q) ^4 T% T( `" U
The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
4 t5 b Z2 F% f$ m9 hInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials u' ]0 r! ]% y7 b4 F/ h+ b* T
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material% P+ h& v& n- }2 D+ ~7 V# f: T6 v# t
Must be able to work safely at all times9 A2 ]& V' ~5 Y' C0 X7 V
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
7 V$ T; _+ Y8 {6 T! N; ^; pPerforms routine housekeeping.
6 k+ S( q8 ~: ?' P8 M$ b' SObserves and reports any safety issues

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting

Ability to write simple correspondence
